Your morning post of concentrated wingnuttery

I suppose it should not come as a surprise that “father of the year” Joe Walsh of Illinois attracts these kind of crowds:

…a constituent…accused President Barack Obama of “sedition” because he had allegedly lied to voters about his true political allegiances to “socialism, communism and Nazism.”

A Communist and Nazi? This person may not be familiar with Operation Barbarossa, but they certainly wake up every day to Operation Moron.

And that is not even the most concentrated bit of wingnuttia of the last few days.  That goes to Phyllis Schaffley’s Eagle Forum on hearing that non-minority births outpace whites despite the herculean efforts of Michelle Duggar’s womb:

…the USA is being transformed by immigrants who do not share those values, and who have high rates of illiteracy, illegitimacy, and gang crime, and they will vote Democrat when the Democrats promise them more food stamps.

If it had included drugs and porn it would have been the most condensed sentence of wingnuttery ever written.

Attaturk

In 1949, I decided to wrestle professionally, starting my career in Texas. In my debut, I defeated Abe Kashey, with former World Heavyweight boxing Champion Jack Dempsey as the referee. In 1950, I captured the NWA Junior Heavyweight title. In 1953, I won the Chicago version of the NWA United States Championship. I became one of the most well-known stars in wrestling during the golden age of television, thanks to my exposure on the Dumont Network, where I wowed audiences with my technical prowess. I was rumored to be one of the highest paid wrestlers during the 1950s, reportedly earning a hundred thousand dollars a year. My specialty was "the Sleeper Hold" and the founding of modern, secular, Turkey.

Oops, sorry, that's the biography of Verne Gagne with a touch of Mustafa Kemal.

I'm just an average moron who in reality is a practicing civil rights and employment attorney in fly-over country .
