Roscoe’s Chicken ‘n’ Waffles Salutes Obama

img_0376.thumbnail.JPGSpotted on the wall of the Pasadena branch of Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles.

Los Angeles’ landmark chain Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘n’ Waffles has fed the likes of Liz Taylor, Oprah Winfrey, Snoop Dogg, Usher, Justin Timberlake, and was frequently referenced by Will Smith on Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Along with this representation of the senator from Illinois, there’s a shoop of a vintage Life magazine cover  featuring Obama and Kennedy together  and a large cover of Ebony magazine with Barack in leather and wrap around shades, with a caption reading "The New Black Cool."
